My practice transforms urban spaces into alternative modes of perception.

I am interested in how movement reshapes the ways we experience and understand the built environment. Influenced by both the single-point perspective of Western spatial representation and the multi-perspectival space of traditional Japanese painting, I approach space not as a fixed structure but as something continuously produced through experience.

My early works reconstructed photographs taken during aimless walks through the city, revealing fragmented and often overlooked aspects of everyday landscapes. In recent years, this investigation has expanded through skateboarding. For a skateboarder, the city is not a functional environment organized according to predetermined purposes but a terrain reinterpreted through bodily movement. Stairs, handrails, and sloping surfaces become elements of an alternative spatial logic.

Through photography, sculpture, and installation, I translate the perceptual displacements generated by movement into material form. Rather than representing the city itself, my works reconstruct the shifts in perception that emerge through movement, transforming lived experience into physical and spatial structures.
