Body Rotation is a sculptural series that transforms my own silhouette into rotational forms using 3D modeling software, creating objects poised between the human figure and abstract sculpture.

Poses drawn from art history and popular media lose their original physical identity through this digital rotation. Converted into unfamiliar sculptural masses, they strip away figurative representation to leave only the body’s center of gravity, balance, and organic presence.

Despite their algorithmic and industrial production, the sculptures retain an uncanny corporeality. Evoking anatomical fragments or biomorphic abstraction, they exist within a tension between systematization and sensuality, connecting modernist abstraction with the tradition of Western figurative sculpture. 

Ultimately, digital technology is used not to reproduce reality, but to destabilize perception. As the body is transformed into data, abstraction regains a tactile, flesh-like quality, mutating familiar poses into strange sculptural presences.
